Halesford Harbour, located in Bedford County, VA on beautiful 20,000 acre Smith Mountain Lake is a 41-acre resort owned and operated by local businessmen who either live or own vacation homes at the lake.  Halesford Harbour RV Park and Resort offers a premier RV Park campground, 24-room motel, the only lakefront motel on the Bedford Couny side of Smith Mountain Lake and a marina with boat rentals, boat launch, fish and tackle store and restaurant. Halesford Harbour RV Park and Resort, nestled in a quiet cove at Smith Mountain Lake, is surrounded by nature and offers frequent sitings of deer, turkey, great blue herons, bald eagles and other wildlife that is native to the Blue Ridge Mountain region of Virginia.  Smith Mountain Lake, famous for bass fishing, offers trophy striped bass, large mouth bass, small mouth bass and crappy.

Halesford Harbour's premier RV Park campground, open for both long-term and short-term camping, offers sites on the waterfront and beautiful terraced sites affording waterviews.  Construction on the RV Park began in the winter of 2011 and will open for the Resort's first campers in June 2012.  The RV Park is terraced along the Lake, affording each RV site a gorgeous view of Smith Mountain Lake.  All RV sites offer new municipal sewer and water connections and electric 50 amp service. Annual, or long-term sites are currently being offered at a great introductory rate of $3950;  tenants can lock into this same rate for the first two years if a lease is signed by June 1, 2012.

Halesford Harbour Inn, Smith Mountain Lake's only waterfront motel in Moneta, is peacefully tucked into a quiet cove that affords beautiful views from all guests’ rooms. The Harbour Inn is the best lodging Smith Mountain Lake has to offer, with twelve efficiency suites with a full size refrigerator and stove top range and twelve deluxe rooms with a mini-fridge and microwave.

Halesford Harbour’s Marina, home of Halesford Harbour boat rentals and 24-hour gas, is a short boat ride from Halesford Bridge and Bridgewater Plaza, the central hub of activity at SML.  The Marina has undergone winter renovations but is now open and offer both open and covered boat slips for the exclusive use of RV Park tenants and motel guests.  Jake's Place Restaurant also offers boat slip parking for customers.
